Lara A. Dabdoub

Lara A. Dabdoub has been practicing law for over 20 years, spending the majority of her career litigating medical malpractice and serious personal injury cases in South Florida. Lara’s current practice focuses on representing victims of medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, defective consumer products as well as probate, estate and trust litigation throughout the State of Florida.

Prior to forming UD, Lara was a trial lawyer at a premier boutique personal injury firm focusing on medical malpractice. Before that, she was a partner at a statewide defense firm where she handled a large case load of medical malpractice and serious personal injury cases, defending healthcare providers, including physicians, certified nurse anesthetists, physician assistants, and nurses in complex medical malpractice cases, defending national corporations in personal injury matters, and handling complicated contractual disputes.

Lara is a seasoned trial attorney and has been involved in multiple trials and arbitrations throughout her career, including securing one of the largest medical malpractice verdicts in Brevard County history, and being public recognized for having one of the Top 20 Verdicts in Florida in the year 2022.

Lara is committed to her community, including the Caribbean diaspora. She currently serves as the President of the Caribbean Bar Association. Lara has been named a Florida Super Lawyer every year since 2022.

Lara was born in Miami, Florida, and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. She comes from a family of lawyers, which includes her father, sister, and two brothers. In her free time, Lara enjoys running and spending time with her husband, Ryan, and children.
